Part-Time Barista

  Essential Job Functions

  • Passion for Karma Apple and enthusiasm for learning more about Karma Apple products and nutrition.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by creating a welcoming environment, smiling and thanking every guest with outstanding enthusiasm.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our high-quality nutritional products and retail items, and be able to communicate at an exceptional level to our clientele.
  • Be able to answer questions from customers and make recommendations based on their needs while also      protecting all proprietary information.
  • Consistently prepare beverages and food with detail and precision.
  • Available to work a minimum of three (3) days a week, including weekends.
  • The physical aspect of the job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending over, reaching and other varied tasks.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, recipes, health codes and safety regulations.
  • Execute accurate sales transactions on the register, and operate all food preparation equipment and tools efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness at all times; including equipment, tools and counter tops must be clean throughout shift.
  • Baristas are expected to work together as one to produce the highest quality products efficiently with a positive attitude.
  • Baristas are responsible for staying up to date on all company communications.


Desired Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar environment (quick service food or retail)
  • Food Handlers Certification and/or willingness to complete
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 16 years of age

Part-Time Juicer

Essential Job Functions

  • Passion for Karma Apple and enthusiasm for learning more about Karma Apple products and nutrition.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our high-quality nutritional products.
  • Consistently prepare cold-pressed juices with detail and precision.
  • Available to work three (3) days a week, preferably every other day.
  • The physical aspect of the job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending over, reaching and other varied tasks.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, recipes, health codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness at all times; including equipment, tools and counter tops must be clean throughout shift.
  • Juicer is responsible for staying up to date on all company communications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar environment (quick service food or retail)
  • Must have experience operating a juicing machine
  • Food Handlers Certification and/or willingness to complete
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Part-Time Assistant Manager

Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by creating a welcoming environment, prompt friendly service, smiling and thanking every guest with outstanding enthusiasm.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our high-quality nutritional products and retail items, and be able to communicate at an exceptional level to our clientele.
  • Be able to answer questions from customers and make recommendations based on their needs while also protecting all proprietary information.
  • Consistently prepare beverages and food with detail and precision.
  • Available to work a minimum of four (4) days a week, including weekends.
  • The physical aspect of the job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending over, reaching and other various tasks.
  • Enforce all policies, procedures, recipes, health codes and safety regulations.
  • Build guest relationships and respond to complaints and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Execute accurate sales transactions on the register, and operate all food preparation equipment and tools efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness at all times; including equipment, tools and counter tops must be clean throughout shift.
  • Maintain the proper atmosphere through music and visual presentation at all times.
  • Ensure that staff work together as one to produce the highest quality products efficiently with a positive attitude.
  • Stay up to date on all company news and changes, and communicate updates to Baristas. Communicate Barista and customer issues to Manager.


Leadership Responsibilities

  • Work schedule reflects the needs of the operation.
  • Display, encourage, and inspire high morale, motivation and teamwork in the store.
  • Respond to team conflicts professionally and work toward positive resolutions.
  • Promote an environment that does not permit or promote any kind of harassment or discrimination.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels that allow for Guest needs. Monitor store’s on-hand inventory for waste and theft.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely all company processes.
  • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the company.
  • Support the introduction of new products, procedures, marketing initiatives, training development, equipment and any other company programs.


Managerial Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, schedule, motivate, and evaluate staff.
  • Implement programs to reward positive contributions. Recognize and promote positive performers. Coach and counsel staff whose performance is below expectations.
  • Supervise and maintain store cleanliness and organization for both the interior and exterior of the store.
  • Co-host meetings with Manager to share information, or conduct supplemental training.
  • Create and utilize operational procedures and checklists to ensure product standards and specifications.
  • Drive sales leveraging your business acumen, efficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Additional duties as needed.


Desired Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
  • Must have an eye for detail, someone who is motivated, trust-worthy, challenged by hard work and works well with a team
  • 3-5 years of supervisory and customer service experience
  • Food Handlers Certification and/or willingness to complete
  • High school degree or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
